Blink-182 and Guy Fieri Released Co-Branded Apparel for Charity

It’s a match made in delicious rock n’ roll heaven. Famed pop-punk band Blink-182 just released a limited line of merchandise co-branded with celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s “Flavortown” brand.

The “blink-182 x Flavortown” collection is currently available, and proceeds will benefit the Guy Fieri Foundation, which uses cooking and education to support communities across the U.S., according to Loudwire.

Since it’s a combination of rock band and rockstar chef, the collection includes pieces from both world, like a classic T-shirt and an apron.

The design itself features a cartoon version of Fieri driving his famous convertible, along with the blink-182 rabbit mascot and x-eyed logo.

The products also came out on July 1, the 182nd day of the year, which blink dubbed “182 Day.”

Clearly there was a crossover of blink and Fieri fans, because the products are all sold out on the blink-182 merchandise store.

It sort of seems like Mad Libs, or like someone just pulled two celebrity names out of a hat, but the success shows that people want co-branded merchandise, even if the two brands seemingly have nothing in common.
